From Délice Boréal / Northern Delights

Traditionally, crowberry infusions were used to settle upset stomachs. The tea has a rich violet colour, a fruity aroma and a light acidic and astringent taste of spiced berries.

Ingredients: Hibiscus blossoms, lemongrass, birch leaves, crowberry tea (Paurngaqutik), natural flavours, juniper berries, citric acid, cinnamon, red poppy flowers, star anise, licorice, loves.

Northern Delights Tea is an Inuit non-for-profit community organization working with a mandate of community development, environment sustainability, and cultural expression.

A local Canadian tea I picked up one day. I only picked up a sample pack, but I will definitely need to purchase more.

Very cranberry-ish, but with a hint of spice and earthiness. Very enjoyable.

Also, I like to support a company with such social and environmental equity standards.
