Last tea of the night before I crawl in to bed and hope for just one day tomorrow that doesn’t have issues and problems. I probably shouldn’t behaving this with jr mints, dillpickle dip and regular chips and cinnamon raisin toast…but I am. So there. And no, I’m not pregnant lol just stressed :) I ate real dinner earlier so Nyah!

This Isn’t a bad blend. Holding off rating it since I’ve got lots of flavours going on here at the same time, but I am feeling the ginger and the rooibos….but there’s also a sweetness to it that must be the pineapple, though it doesn’t taste like that. I have a feeling as well, that I could have steeped this for longer to get even more of the ginger to come out. Ill have to try that next time.

Edit….also final tea count of the day…265. 11 days to go. Lol

ohman soo tired. watched a movie with the other half and nearly fell asleep. time for one more cup of tea while i do dishes and then…crashing early.

this tea? it’s about average.

sipdown! 263…. here we go again lol

There’s an abundance of ginger in this one today but i think i prefer it this way. It’s not nearly as sweet as before. I feel though, that this is much more of a ginger tea than it is gingerbread. If that makes sense.

On the Third Day of Christmas … Della Terra Teas sent me this tea!

This is a bit of a backlog, as I did enjoy the tea a day or two ago so that I could write this full-length review and schedule it for publication today: http://sororiteasisters.com/2012/12/16/on-the-third-day-of-christmas-della-terra-teas-sent-to-me/

This tea isn’t as “gingerbread-y” as I would have expected from a tea called “The Gingerbread Man,” instead, it had a really delicious creamy element to it. I really enjoyed this, creaminess, and the sweetness of the cup overall, but, I did find myself wanting a bit more of a snappy gingerbread taste.

Backlog. Strangely, I got zero ginger out of this one, but it tasted almost exactly to me like the spicing of an Indian rice pudding that I really like! Green cardamom pods and nutmeg, primarily, are what I was picking out. So, gingerbread tea it definitely was not, but it is quite tasty regardless!

Haha, got the same impression of this one this time as previous – that it reminded me of the spicing in Indian rice pudding (kheer?). Really not gingerbread to me at all, but tasty just the same.

This is part of a recent order from Della Terra, my new source for dessert teas. :)

I only got 1 oz. of this but I wish I had gotten more! I like ginger a lot and I let this steep for over 5 minutes (can’t remember exactly how long). It is pretty strong on the ginger side but also sweet and fruity. I might try to use slightly less tea next time because it came out very strong… I like it though! This would be great as a latte, I drank mine with soymilk. yum!

This is a great evening time tisane… it was very good after I went to the movies tonight and then had a huge bowl of vegetarian ramen. Just the right amount of ginger but not overwhelming. I really love this with some soymilk. :)

Hmm. I forgot about this and had it steeping for around 2 hours with evidently not too much negative effect. :)

Done with this package, I really liked this rooibos…. strong and gingery! See previous notes for more details.

I don’t like gingerbread that much. But when I was making my order with Della Terra I thought I’d at least try this since they do dessert blends so well.

I am quite enjoying this one, it really tastes like cookies. And the rooibos, instead of being annoying and woody and medicinal, really blends into the flavor well.

I way over steeped this one, probably 12mins or so. I forgot about it while chatting with my daughter after I got home from work. I’ve had one tea that tasted like a ginger snap. Other than ginger snaps, I’m not much a fan of gingerbread cookies.

This tea is ginger like, but more of a bakey ginger than thie kind of ginger you get from most teas. Generally I find ginger can way overpower a tea and ruin it.

This works nicely, ginger like, sweet perhaps a bit fruity. Not really bakey like a cookie. A nice yummy bedtime tea.

It smells like ginger, but not the cookie. The flavour isn’t really gingery. It mostly tastes like cinnamon and pineapples. Not what I was excepting, but still good.

I got this as a sample with my Della Terra order and drank it last night with a couple of Pepperidge Farm Ginger Men on the side :) Such a treat! It taste very much like a gingerale flavor. It’s not super spicy like other ginger teas I’ve tried. It’s a very sweet, cozy kind of flavor and I love that it’s a rooibus tea and I can drink it at night!

I will probably order the 2oz bag on Black Friday because I love to keep teas on hand for upset stomachs and what better than a gingerale flavor rooibus tea for that? I recommend it

I think I have some kind of stomach bug but I’m dragging myself to work because I need my days off for the holidays. So I’m drinking a lot of this, tastes like ginger ale and has stomach settling rs.rooibos. Using tea to get through the day.
