Soooo many new teas to choose from in my order that arrived this morning.

I’m not sure why I chose to try this one first, when what I have really been waiting for is Malt Shop.

This is really freakin good. Creamy & stawberry-ie, it’s better when it’s still quite hot, I find the flavours come out more. I’m not getting much chocolate, most of it is at the end of the sip.

This is definetly ice cream in a cup, melted & warmed deliciousness. YUM!

I really forgot how much a half ounce of tea is, I’m gonna be at this forever! 19 new teas to try.

I wasn’t really a fan of this one, but that is partly due to the chocolate flavoring that I dislike. I really need to stop ordering Della Terra’s chocolate teas. The problem is that I’ve found one that I like and keep hoping I’ll find another one. So far I haven’t.

I really wanted to taste more strawberry out of this blend. It was interesting to try, but not something I’ll reorder. Into the TTB this one goes, I’m sure someone along the way will enjoy it much more than I have.

This is the perfect tea for making strawberry lattes! Yum! It reminds me of Davids Love Tea #7, but better and more creamy. It is creamy strawberry with a hint of chocolate. Too bad I am on a no tea buying hiatus or I would pick up 2 oz :(

The other night when I was forcing myself to re-drink the possibly rancid coconut tea that everyone else in the world loves, I really wanted to be drinking this because I got my third Della Terra order in the mail that day! Can I get a “Huzzahhhh!”?

So I said “To bloody hell with this!” (in my fake British accent) and dumped that other tea-which-shall-not-be-named down the drain and made this instead.

Let me break it down for you. It tastes like a strawberry sundae. Similar to Davidstea’s sadly discontinued Ice Cream Cake tea if that had strawberries/flavoring in it. That being said, sure, there is a bit of an artificial taste to it, but what did you really expect?? You are sitting there drinking an ice cream flavored TEA after all!!

Really good. I’m still undecided on whether or not I would reorder this one, but I’m glad to have tried it and plan to enjoy another mug again soon :)

Della Terra FTW!
(I know I need to expand my tea horizons, if there is another amazing flavored tea company out there please introduce me!!)

This tea smells so good. Like chocolate covered strawberries. The flavoured is more berry ice cream with chocolate syrup.

I’m picky about both my strawberry and chocolate teas. This one is a win.

This one I was less sure about (to be really fair, Love Tea #7 and I have our issues too). I found the chocolate strawberry notes similar in both teas. I didn’t dislike the flavour, but I found the strawberry just a little bit jarring against the chocolate. I think it is a well blended tea, the flavours were strong and the base tea was pleasant, but maybe I am not the biggest fan of chocolate strawberries in my tea?

Dry smell: sweet, chocolatey. Not sure if I smell strawberries though.
Taste: Kind of familiar, can’t quite place it.

Thinking….
Chocolate flavored Tootsie Roll Pops! That’s what this reminds me of! LOL. I hadn’t eaten one in years due to a bad habit of chewing on hard candy and that being hard on fillings. I never thought I’d encounter a tea that brings back that memory! Giggles. I only wish there was more of a strawberry hit though, the red pops were my favorite. Hmm, I guess I could add some flavored syrup!

This is a decent dessert tea and I prefer it over the Adagio Valentines that I also have in my cupboard. The only unfortunate difference right now is that this one is discontinued and the Adagio’s is still available. The black tea that Della Terra uses, seems to be much lighter than some of the other brands (also Adagio). I enjoyed my cup of this, but it didn’t really scream sundae to me.

A try me pack from my Spring Surprise Tea Box.

This smells exactly like a chocolate covered strawberry, with extra strawberry syrup poured over it. I wanted ice cream just from smelling the bag, and I’m sure I looked a bit odd, breathing in tea aroma so seriously.

Brewed up, it doesn’t smell as fruity. The chocolate definitely comes out to say hello. And I’m not sure I wanted it to! I just didn’t enjoy drinking this and it reminded me of my experience with Della Terra’s S’mores. Perhaps I’m not a fan of their chocolate flavor? Time will tell.

Besides the odd chocolate flavoring, the underlying tea base just tasted off to me. But I’m pretty sure someone else would enjoy this? I tried adding milk and sugar; it was better, but just too much for me.

From the Here’s Hoping TTB

Sounds good and it is good. I’m not saying it tastes natural but who would think Strawberry Sundae would have a ‘natural’ flavor. The flavor is reminiscent of the sundaes I had as a child. I wish I had more but I am enjoying what I have of it. The fall weather has changed again and it feels like end of summer instead of mid-Oct. Lovely! Perfect for sitting out on the deck and drinking tea. :)

Flavors: Chocolate, Strawberry
