I preheat my cup by rinsing it with boiling water. Using one tea bag that I have placed in my cup and then I add the boiling water into the cup and covering it, leaving it to steep for two minutes.
With Green tea I am learning to steep it shorter for more of the freshness of the tea.
Tea’s color is a golden brown and smells of grassiness and upon tasting it that is what I am met with that astringency that I have come to expect from this cup of green tea.
I return always to the boiling/steeping of green tea plainly and to drink it throughout the day when I have been sampling many teas and need a break.
This tea does have a mouth drying effect and it is very vegetal in the taste; grassiness to be specific. No complaint here since this is what my palette is calling for.

Using one tea bag in my cup, I pour boiling water into the cup and left to steep for two minutes.
Tea’s color is lightly golden
Tea’s aroma smell of grass, wet leaves.
When tasted, I find it to be astringent with grassy notes in the taste of the tea. It is a clean tasting tea, not bitter at all, but there is that astringency to it.
Overall, tea’s lasting taste is its vegetal quality which is clean and refreshing.

Note: I have not had this green tea brand in a very long while since we have not shopped at Market Basket. Anyhow, we did stop in to purchase a few items and I selected this tea once again. I always say that store employees are not nice to me when there; but I say this of many folks; so I am not to be believed.
I take on tea bag and put this in my cup and fill tea cup with boiling water, steep for two minutes. This tea is one of the more enjoyable cup of green tea that one can have in a tea bag. The color is a very light green or light brown to some and smells strongly of grass and very astringent in that it has a fresh, clean taste; reminiscent of early morning dew on the leaves of trees outside.
I always enjoy this tea for what it is worth.

My cup is already pre-heated since I have just rinsed it with boiling water. Using one tea bag from this box of tea, I place the bag into my cup and fill it with the already boiled water and steeping it only for less than two minutes.
This green tea brews always a golden color and smells astringent and has a clean fresh taste to it. It is funny to mention freshness when having a cup of tea at end of day prior to retiring when freshness is not needed necessarily; but a cleansing of sort; purification over night to ridding the body of wasteful excess.

I preheat my cup by rinsing it with boiling water. Using one of the tea bag I put it in my cup and pour in the boiling hot water, leaving it to steep for several minutes.
This is my lazy day tea when not wanting to be challenged by tea’s aroma, character, and palate. After several minutes of waiting for it to steep, I take the lid from the cup and place it on the table and remove the tea bag from tea.
Tea’s color is lightly brownish and smells like a green tea since it is grassy in the aroma and when tasted there is that grassy and green leaf taste to it. Tea is mildly astringent and taste very warm and soothing.
I must note that this particular box of tea, the strings all broke from the tea bags, most strange since I have been purchasing this tea on a regular basis, as it is used throughout the day, daily.
I don’t always feel the need to record this tea since it is so familiar and nothing new to be found; other than the strings not being properly attached to the tea bag. It is odd.

Using one tea bag and adding fresh boiling water in my cup I left it to steep for 1½ minute as suggested. With the shorter steep the astringency is more noticeable. It is not bitter, but there is heaviness on the tongue; kind of like a stinging effect. It is a clean palette tea since there is no off taste. At times a simple cup of green tea is like that freshness of breath one gets early in the day after using astringent to clean the mouth. I mean to say like using scope or something as similar.

I always run to this tea when needing to get away from having drunk so many fine teas in their original forms; loose-leaf teas or tea flavored with spices and herbs.
I am reminded in drinking this tea that it is an ancient beverage that is steeped in history and romance and many loves tea. Tea is the most commonly consumed beverage after water. Tea did have a modest beginning from its onset; being that it was discovered by accident, but teas popularity spread from its origins in China to Western Europe and the Americas. Throughout its history, tea has been believed to be a very healthy beverage. So drink on and drink deeply as often as is possible.
I always have my green tea steeped for two minutes with very hot water (boiling) and I take it plainly with nothing in it. This tea is very grassy in taste, it is liken to herb and has that medicinal quality to it that I so desire when wanting to escape those expensive teas.
Tea brews a light golden color and smells of grass just nipped or pinched. It is a nice cup of tea when looking for something to cure one ails. I firmly believe this was tea’s original purpose.

Using 1 teabag, I put it into my cup and pour boiling water into the cup and cover for two minutes. I remove the cover and take out the tea bag and add a squeeze of lime juice into the cup and drink it one gulp at a time until finished.
I wanted nothing fancy, I just needed a cup of hot tea to quench my stomach aches. At times seeming to stem from having had one fine cup of tea too many. I think those cloves from my last tea tasting did not agree with me.
I am happy to always have inexpensive green tea around since I can fix a quick cup, very hot and adding some lime to it helps to alleviate undesirables that I have encountered while tasting teas for reviews.
Drinking this Green tea all day is my way of slowing down time around me. I am slow in nature anyway so a cup of tea is just another excuse.
This is not gourmet blend, it is astringent in flavor with first cup brew/steep time of about 3 -4 minutes. Leaving the bag longer dilutes the astringency to almost none at all. I mean it is just flavored water mildly in color, to put it blatantly.
There is nothing to not like about this green tea since it is acquired.
I am back to drinking this store brand Green tea daily which had been absent from my cupboard.
This is lightly, mild green tea; good for when needing a break from the Gourmet brand of teas which can be a bit rough on one’s palette and throat.
I call this store brand my healing cup. Sipping it slowly and no judgment of the notes. I just want to not remember what I am drinking other than for the sake of drinking tea.

I take my already pre-heated tea cup and one green tea bag and putting this in my cup, I add the boiled water. I let this steep only a few minutes. Tea smells grassy, wet green leafy vegetables similarly. I like this taste quite a bit when not wanting another tea type.
When I am looking for that clean, freshness of breath in the morning air I tend to want green teas. There is something in the astringency in the cup, the smelling of the wet leaves or tea bags (but leaves are better) that makes one think of early morning dewiness, just before sunrise.
I am sure that there are far better green teas for the enjoyment in partaking of the early morning tea rituals; since this was what I had retrieved out of my tea cup board then it will have to do. And if not drinking tea (green tea) for morning rituals then drink up for the health benefits derived from drinking green teas.

I always have water on the fire so that when I want a cup of tea; the water is heated and readied. I take one tea bag and after rinsing my cup with warm water, I put the tea bag into cup and pour some of the water from the pan. I leave this to steep for a few minutes.
After sometime, I take my tea and note that it is light brownish color and smell of grass, marine algae even and wet. When sipped it is astringent and drying as well as refreshing for this palate.
I need not make excuses for having this tea. It is a cheap store brand tea that I enjoy, although I don’t like going to this chain of grocers but my husband likes to shop there. I bare and go with him at times but most times I stay away seeming that is what the associates seem to want.
I have tried Stop and Shop tea brands and it is does not compare. It is too light, to faint for a green tea making me think it is not tea leaves in tea bags or they use much less leaves (if any at all). With the Market Basket Brand I can see from opening the tea bag that is finely shredded tea leaves.
It is sad that I cannot shop anywhere and have peace, but it is my problem solely. I must remember it is a tea review. I like this inexpensive green tea and one that is actually even better than the Market Basket brand is Trader Joe’s but I cannot get there. Husband does not shop there. So what am I saying?
I would drink more green teas by Trader Joes’ than others brands!
The tea that I tend to fall back on when needing a simple cup of tea with no explanation or much examination is this store brand green tea. I simply take one tea bag, place in a cup and pour fresh boiling water and steep for less than 2 minutes. I remove the tea bag and sip my tea slowly since it is very hot.
It is good tea serving the need for a cup of hot tea and nothing more. I am not thinking of the health benefits of tea, nor of its calming effects. I am thirsty and I want a cup of hot tea and this does just fine.
Tea is golden in color, a lovely umber.
Tea’s aroma is grassy with a vegetal scent. Upon taste, it is mildly astringent. I should note that this is the tea I fall back on when not drinking expensive name brand teas. This is something that I try to keep stocked in my cupboard regularly. I don’t always keep count since it is consumed daily. I like this tea for what it is; which is green tea, a good cup of warmth that may not be of quality in accordance to standard pricey teas. And yet, good just the same.
