I got this in sample from from one of my good buddies here – I think either Indigobloom or Mercuryhime … I think Mercuryhime. Im sorry ladies … age settling in – not sure which end is up anymore. This is some good tea though! I love Den’s iced teas but never bought the mint – which is odd – I love mint tea! I am going to get some of this for sure! So easy to brew – cold steeps in one hour in the fridge, great mint flavor without being over done and of course a good green base I have come to love from Den’s.
Thank you to whomever shared this with me!

As directed by Den’s, I brewed two bags of this, in ice cold water, in their $3 special “Reicha” plastic iced tea pot. I let it sit for about two hours, shaking it a few times throughout. This turned out much better than expected. It’s certainly not the strongest sencha flavor I’ve ever experienced, or the most nuanced, but for iced green tea it’s quite good. What really struck me was the complete lack of any bitterness or astringency – there’s not even a hint of anything unpleasant. This tea is slightly vegetal and grassy, but also almost sweet, even though it contains no sweetener. It’s just a clean, crisp, green tea taste — and you couldn’t ask for a more convenient brewing method. This is going to be great as the weather gets warmer.

So, I am not a big tea bag person because you can tell that most of the tea bag leaves have gone through the crush and tear process…. but I was impressed that the tea leaves (for green tea) were at a moderate to good level.

I must say this was a convenient way to have an iced tea ready to go during my morning rush! It was great not sweetened but surely a different quality from drinking loose leaf green tea. Still, if you need a quick iced green tea with a good flavor I would recommend this teabag

Had this w/ lunch- a REALLY crappy tv dinner. It’s ok. Very matcha-esque especially the aroma before steeping. Both sweet and bitter.
