Seems weird that I have no tasting notes from this since my sample is nearly gone after making this big cup. Regardless this is likely the same tea as the pear cream i picked up from steeped and infused, which was something we suspected when we picked it up. So overall not a bad tea, but not a great one either. Still on the look out for a great pear tea!

I finally found the other half of my sample bag lol At work…so i’m not crazy just forgetful. Had this so i could be in true sipdown status for this particular tea :) Was a good afternoon tea to try and help keep me relaxed and focused.

SIPDOWN!

I figure since i only had about a cup’s worth, i might as well finish this up in my quest to sipdown my cupboard…. especially with the 5? incoming orders…6?7?8? eesh…

From my review at It’s All About The Leaf, found at: http://www.itsallabouttheleaf.com/2087/tea-review-distinctly-tea-pear-cream-supreme/

Wonderfully aromatic! Sometimes pear flavored tea will smell fruity but not specifically pear. This one definitely is PEAR. And cream. The aroma carries through to the brew. Looking at the ingredient list, I was suprised to see fennel seed – I don’t tend to mentally connect fennel and pear flavors, but on my first sip I was sold. You don’t taste fennel, but rather a lovely blend of pear flavors and tea flavors. Very nice!

This tea deserves sitting on a veranda with a friend, talking and sipping. Very comforting, very yummy. I tried this both hot and iced, and while I prefer hot, I bet this would be lovely sweetened and iced on a summer day. Yum.

This one’s in the queue at www.itsallabouttheleaf.com, but it’s good—really good! The word ambrosia was used in the review. And rightfully so. :)

In today’s pairing of fine tea with a junk food breakfast, we’ll select Pear Cream Supreme (which, if anything, just keeps getting better and better in my estimation) to go with Pillsbury lemon cinnamon rolls out of a tube. Not too bad! The cream flavor is such a mellowing agent to the fruit … mmm!

Review’s up … another one I miss from days gone by:
