Organic Green Andean

Green Tea by Drink T

In the high slopes of the Andes Mountains where they meet the Amazon Basin is a region of sub Andean valleys called Yungas. The unique soil of the high altitude rain forest covered mountains, where the cool air from the snow capped mountains combine with the warm moist air from the Amazon, is ideal to cultivate superior quality tea. Large olive-green organic tea leaves yield a bright sparkling cup with an herbal bouquet that is smooth and slightly sweet, very refreshing

This has a really lovely flavor. The dry leaves are HUGE! The aroma is quite vegetative. The flavor is lightly sweet – it is a delicate sweetness that is quite refreshing! There is a citrus note in the finish too. And… even though the description from Drink T says only 1 infusion, the leaves look as though they can submit to at least 1 – if not more – additional infusion(s).

This is a lovely green – refreshing. Kind of smells like celery and tastes very pure!

Not only did I have a cup of this last night but I also used it in cooking! I decided to make Vegan Creamed Spinach!

I posted it on my blog with a pic
