From Earth Fare

Cold Season Herbal Infusion is both an invigorating and favorful way to help keep up your body’s defenses. Rose hips are among the richest vitamin foods in the world.

Hibiscus flowers, taken traditionally to ‘calm the heart’, are presently being studied for abating stress-induced blood pressure.

The fruit of the elderberry bush usually tops the list of medicinal herbs used to lessen the symptoms and help build up an immune defense against the common flu. Bioflavonoids contained in the dark purple fruit which destroy the ability of cold and flu viruses to infect a cell are the main reason for this plant’s fame.

Steep 3-5 minutes in boiling water.

Ingredients: Rose Hips, Hibiscus Flowers, Elderberry, and Honeybush

Backlogging.
Cold Season Tea is one of the two Earth Fare brand herbals I brought for drinking at night. My allergies are acting up right now so I decided to try this one before bed Tuesday night. This isn’t going to be a full first-time-drinking-this tealog since it was pretty late and I was pretty tired and I may have overestimated my ability to drink a new herbal and making notes for a tealog in my head at that time. So, I remember that it was extremely tart and drying and there was fruit/berry/apple flavors. Next tealog on this one should be the first-time-drinking-this tealog.
