YUM!

This is really good. It has such a delightful caramel character. While I don’t know that this is quite as good as my Sweet Caramel O’Mine, this IS the first tea that I would consider to be somewhat close to it, and this is the first tea that I’ve tried thus far that I would actually suggest as an alternative to my Sweet Caramel O’Mine. Yes… it’s that good.

This is a pretty tasty offering. It has a nice, rich black tea that pairs nicely with the flavor profile. It is rich with little bitterness or astringency. The flavor profile kind of strattles the line between actually tasting like toffee vs caramel. I love toffee so if this had a rich definitely toffee flavor, it would be a 100! That said, I will still consider giving this a rotation in my tea cabinet esp if I placed an order with Element Teas.

I absolutely loved this one! Sad they went out of business!

I absolutely love the way these leaves smell. Nutty, sweet, chocolatey, but mostly caramel.

The tea itself is a little different, but not by much. It tastes very faintly of chocolate and caramel, with a strong almond-like flavor over it. I sort of wish those flavors were a little stronger, but the black tea base is nice as well. It gets bitter if brewed past five minutes, otherwise it’s pretty mellow and pleasant. Not harsh at all.

I’m still struggling a little with the tea/water ratios with my triniTea. I’m thinking a teaspoon and a half of tea for every cup?

Finishing the last of my sample up. This was a very good dessert tea that also made a good breakfast treat instead of coffee.

This was my choice for the Monday morning to-go cup. I’ve reviewed this tea before, and all I can add to my previous thoughts was that this tea is very… buttery. Yes, it tastes like sweet cream butter. And almonds. But in a good way, if that makes sense.

A great substitute for coffee. The flavors complement each other very well. Great as both an early morning treat or dessert during the evening.
