This one is pretty nice. I usually don’t get overly jazzed about jasmine but this is pretty, gentle, and tasty. A Floral Jasmine I can handle “Just right”. It lives up to it’s name without being over the top.
You know, while brewing this tea, I got to thinking about my yixing mugs. I originally bought just one which was intended for my Ali Shan Oolongs. Then I bought a second one for my Yellow Teas because even though I don’t drink them often, they are my favorite and I wanted it to be an occasion when I sipped them, complete with a special mug. Finally, just a few months ago, I decided to buy another Yixing mug for my jasmine teas… and even though this one is quite a bit newer than the other two, I have used it more than both of them combined! This tells me that I need to start drinking more Ali Shan and Yellow teas.
Anyway… this is a lovely jasmine. Smooth and rich texture. Amazing fragrance. Delicious floral notes and fresh vegetative tone. Such a beautiful, beautiful tea.
