Our Ginger Black Tea has a refreshing, exotic taste, with interesting flavors of fresh ginger root: piquant, spicy and fruity hot.
This is a naturally flavored black tea. We use natural high grown Ceylon tea from estates at more than 5500 feet above sea level. We add natural flavor to give a clean true taste with no chemical aftertaste.
For the best brew, our Ginger Black Tea should steep in water that has been brought to a rolling boil for 2-5 minutes.
98% or more of this tea comes from estates that are part of the Ethical Tea Partnership. The ETP is an initiative started within the tea industry to monitor and regulate living and working conditions on estates around the world.
This is a mild and delicate version of ginger, providing just the right sparkle without overwhelming the cup. This tea is my BookTasting companion for Mary Robinette Kowal’s period fantasy “Shades of Milk and Honey.” And, true to the title, the tea is perfected with a shade of milk and honey!
