Jasmine Oolong

This one has been hiding from me for nearly two years…it’s never been open, has not been exposed to air since I received it, and has been in a small tin – in a dark, cool, dry place. I’m embarrassed to say I thought I tried it and passed it along to someone else already! Oops!

Some findings…

This is a mellower Jasmine. It doesn’t have a soapy taste – nor does it have a stale floral taste. I’m very grateful of this. It’s semi-sweet and the after taste isn’t funky. YAY!

Delicate and tasty! I like this! This is a Jasmine I can relate to! It’s also very forgiving and holds up to being in my stash quite well!

This is a fantastic Jasmine Oolong. The flavor of the Jasmine is delicate and doesn’t interfere with the lovely nuances of the Oolong, which is soft and faintly vegetative. There is a smooth mouthfeel.

I tried this last night hoping it would be a great of an experience as my previous jasmine oolong that I had last week. Unfortunately this one didn’t deliver as nicely as the previous one I had. I couldn’t help but think of perfume while sipping this one…and it kind of gave off an oily feel on my tongue. Meh, if you like perfumey jasmine then this would be good, but jasmine aside the oolong was very good and had that “I just want to chew on it” vibe going on if ya get what I mean. Lol

Very awesome! Love it! Drink it every night before I go to bed. It’s great with a lot of fruity teas as well as floral.
