Mango/Yoghurt

Fruit Tea by ESP Emporium

The striking combination of this blend is determined by large, firm, natural coconut chips, pineapple flakes and exotic mango and papaya bits. Freeze-dried, light yoghurt granules and yellow sunflower blossoms are further eye catchers. A special combination of exotic fruit flavors complements the fruit nuances perfectly.

Ingredients: currants, hibiscus blossoms, papaya cubes (papaya, sugar), elderberries, pineapple flakes, mango flakes, papaya flakes, coconut chips, flavoring (lactose), freeze-dried yoghurt granules (skimmed milk yoghurt (lactose), sugar, malt dextrin, modified starch: di-carbophosphate, acidifying agent: citric acid), wild strawberry leaves, sunflower blossoms, black currant, blueberries.

Not one of my favorites… it was very tart, which for me is weird in tea, but if you like that then i’d give it a try.

I always like to pick one “adventurous” tea to put into my cart, and this was what I picked that was out of my comfort zone when I ordered from ESP Emporium. It’s… not what I expected. There is a tart flavor that is very similar to that of original yogurt, which is a little off putting to the flavor of the tea. I am a big fan of plain yogurt too! The mango provides a bit of sweetness, but the flavor is just strange. I made a cup hot and then also tried it over ice, and neither one of them worked for me. Not bad, but definitely not something I would be ordering again.

So many huge chunks of mango and other fruit! I’m guilty of sampling this tea without actually steeping it.. and after steeping picking out all the chunks of fruit and eating it! Very nice fruity mango tea… however the yogurt isn’t very pronounced and did not add any creamyness at all.
