Organic Mango/Pear Deluxe

White Tea by ESP Emporium

The natural friendship of “East meets West” is portrayed when we look at the flavor composition mango and pear in this organic blend. Any possible early shyness as to whether this is really the perfect match was gone the minute these two fruits met on the delicate white peony tea. A must have organic creation!

This sample came from Anny Oxidant & the Tea Bullie – thanks for sharing!

I like fruity teas so I was keen to try this one. Pear is a flavor that seems really difficult to get right in tea, if you ask me. This looks to be a flavored Chinese tea blend. I don’t see a lot of fruit chunks in it, but there’s a few rose petals strewn here and there (how romantic!)

This was steeped for around 3 minutes in the infuser mug. Hmm, this tea is fairly smooth and gentle. I am picking up on both pear and mango, and they are blending well together. oooh, I should make a pear mango smoothie someday! :D

I liked this one, it’s gentle and flavorful without being too fakey, sweet or artificial tasting. Probably will not need to run out and buy anymore but I’m enjoying the cuppa I have.

Thanks for the sample, Anny!

I am going to skip all the fluff regarding how this tea looks and just put it out there. Holy cow this tea rocks! Smells great and tastes greater!! I have not tasted a pear in years and years so who knows about that flavor, but who cares-the mango rooocks!! Perfectly flavored – Not to strong and not artificial at all. Oh man. I am having my second pot already today. Yum.

Update 10 days later…Weird. Revisited this tea today. I am wondering if my taste in tea changes from day to day. For some odd reason, I am not liking it nearly as much now. Hmmm

I’ve noticed with both white teas I’ve purchased from ESP Emp. that the bai mu dan base is kinda stale and flat. It’s not like the juicy, delicate, lush, and slightly floral like other white tea blends I’ve had with other online tea sellers. Or I’m just spoiled.

The fruit combination was nice and sweetener helps pull out the pear flavor. Pear is nice in tea! I need to find more pear blends!
