2011 Spring Taiwan Wuyi
Taiwan Wuyi is back! We have been missing this tea for a couple of seasons and we are happy that we can find a good crop this spring. Wuyi varietals are known in China and some of them were brought to Taiwan in 17th or 18th century. Nowadays, we could still find some of the Wuyi varietals in PingLin region. Taiwanese Wuyi is lightly oxidized with a medium roast. It is a great tea to compare to the Chinese Wuyi. It’s also a great tea to have when you want something very different.
