From Fusion Teas

Good Morning Mate’s name was given to reflect its potential in replacing the morning coffee ritual so many Americans have. By roasting the yerba mate it has similar taste characteristics that coffee gives you. Roasted Mate has a pleasingly astringent, smooth, roasty character that comes from the roasting process the leaves undergo after plucking. Many life long coffee drinkers are discovering roasted mate and love the sustaining energy effects it has. No crash and no jitters. Mate is even gentle on the stomach. This invigorating brew is complimented with cocoa bits, cinnamon and cloves that give it an even deeper richer taste without masking the natural roasted smoothness. No other tea on the market is like it. That is one of the many reasons Yerba Mate is gaining more and more popularity. An every morning ritual that everyone should try.

As an avid Yerba Mate drinker, I have grown my pallet to enjoy bitter things. This does not only mean my taste buds, my nose as well. Before I review this I will say I hated the initial smell, before and after brewing. On that note, a VERY TASTY blend. The Mate wasn’t very potent but it was there and it gave me a good, almost jittery energy. I know “jittery” is a four letter word in the world of Mate, but it was good jittery, ha! Great tasting blend although a suspect smelling one for a very sensitive nose

MMMMMMM after just one taste I couldn’t wait to jump online and rate my new favorite tea from Fusion Tea Room. The Morning Mate is absolutely delicious first thing in the morning. I think its best to add a little bit of warm milk after steeping making it a tea latte. Smooth, rich flavors coming from many different directions, cinnamon, chocolate, and the roasted mate is intense. When I want to shake things up a little I mix it with the Raspberry Mate from Fusion Tea Room. This Particular flavor (Good Morning Mate), blends very well with others and is a must have for your collection. If not, the only one for your collection. Happy steeping

I made this as a cold brew. Yum yum! We are finally have a string of lovely weather. It feels like summer. Perfect weather of the iced teas. I finally got some easily removable labels to put on my iced tea pitchers. since I often have several in the fridge. I always tell myself I’ll remember what it is but I never do. They are blackboard stickers that you can write on with chalk and then erase. I’ll see how they do. :-D

This tea was from MissB in her mystery package. I’m just getting around to trying it now as I kept forgetting in the mornings. This is a lovely robust tea. I pick up cinnamon? in the aroma. Really a great cup. Can’t add much more to the already great reviews on it.

Coldbrew Sipdown! Yay!

I’m actually sad to see this go. It is tastier than expected and it’s keeping me from passing out in my seat. Yum. I added vanilla agave, and it’s a roasty toasty cinnamon vanilla treat, with the roasted mate just rounding out the flavor. Beautiful.

This is a nice drink for morning, or I guess anytime. I like the cinnamon kick to it, but it could have a touch more chocolate flavor. I easily got a double brew from this without losing any of the flavor. Very nice drink.
