I am drinking my third cup of this tisane as I write. It does not have a whole lot of flavor, but it’s relatively OK for before bed. I chose it because I wanted something herbal, witthout caffeine and I was in the mood to try something different.
I purchased this one in a local Chinese market. When I bought it, I thought that it was loose leaf but after opening it I realized that it is actually a powder. The outer package has 12 small packets. Each contains a finely ground powder.
Each packet has enough of the powder to make a regular teapot full of the tisane.
I prepared it the same way that I would a normal pot of tea.
The taste…well, it really doesn’t taste much at all. When I bought it I thought that it would taste like decent chrysanthemum tea. While there is a faint chrysanthemum fragrance and taste, it is not enough to attract my interest.
