This tea was almost awesome to me.
Because on one hand, it’s a nice smooth green tea with a soft rose flavor and hints of sage. And these are things I really enjoy.
But on the other hand, there’s also a strong deal of lemon that hits my tongue with the rose, and rosemary, which is a spice I only sometimes care for. And I probably would have liked it more without these.
And yet I don’t really want to stop drinking it. It’s very well balanced and all the flavors are there, and I’m glad I got the chance to try it. It’s just not quite my thing.
Hmmm… I’m not really sure what to say about this one. I don’t really care for the smell and in trying to pinpoint why I took another look at the ingredients. I need to pay closer attention to what I order because this has sage in it and I absolutely hate sage in anything other than the stuffing/dressing that goes with my Thanksgiving turkey. I’m pretty sure when I ordered it I saw that it had rose petals and that’s what snared me. I’m such a sucker for rose anything.
I didn’t dislike this as much as I thought that I would and that surprised me since it also contains lemon and I could really do without lemon in my tea. This has a nice balance to it and you can really taste the sage, rosemary, and lemon. What I’m not really tasting, at least while it is hot, is the rose. This really isn’t a bad blend, but it certainly isn’t to my tastes.
