Organic Original De-Caf

Like the monks who toil over lush gardens of fresh leafy flavors, consider the possibilities of pouring piping hot boiling water over actual dried leaves of tea…the ones that you can actually distinguish as leaves. It has been whispered through the halls of the time-tested tea wisdom of our elders, that tea’s true flavor is derived from the oil of the leaves as they gently relinquish their essence in defeat to their defeator, boiling water…therefore one may deduce that the absence of tea leaves, means the absence of flavor as well.

This my favorite before bed decaf infusion. I completely over brew it living the tea bag in until I am done with the entire cup. Really like the hot cinnamon flavors that come out of the over brewing. Haven’t been as as happy with it since Tatami bought it and played with the formula but can’t find substitute (Harness Hot Cinnamon comes closest) if anyone else knows of a good cinnamon or similar tea please email me.

One of my favorite caffeine free teas. DON’T oversteep this one. It tastes very spicy, but over steep it and you will feel like you are drinking liquid cinnamon. Not in a good way. So sweet no sugar is necessary.

Cinnamon-sweet. This is the first tea I could drink without sweetener. My office-mate back in 1999 gave me my first bag of this. It was good in the office as a break. It was probably my first experience with rooibos, too (which I why every time I taste cinnamon, I think rooibos, even though I know that’s not correct!) I haven’t been able to find it lately. I wonder if I would still like it?

I love how spicy and sweet this herbal tea is. Something yummy and comforting to have in the teapot as I do my homework.

I love drinking this tea at night. Sometimes I add tinctures (Mugwort in particular) and it masks the funkiness of the tinctures well. Very spicy and naturally sweet. This tea has been part of my nightly routine for a while.

One of the only teas I enjoy from a bag. Love it!
