Fruit Herbal Rooibos Blend by Good Earth Teas
Ingredients: Red Rooibos, Natural Flavors (Contains Soy Lecithin), Orange Peel, Coriander, Chicory Root, Anise Seed, Cardamom, Nutmeg, Rose Petals and Vanilla Extract.
Contains no sugar, caffeine, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. A natural source of antioxidants.
The bag smells like a cross between wildflowers and sugar cookies. Sounds strange, but it works quite well. When brewed, smell is more like sweet caramel. It’s a very light dessert tea, naturally sweet. The vanilla and caramel are about equal in their intensity. This is my first tea from Good Earth; I’ll definitely be trying more.
Brewed for 10 minutes.
This is an ideal dessert/after dinner tea. The box says it is vanilla and caramel flavored, and I was concerned that these flavors might be overpowering or too artificial. Not so. Just a good, smooth cup with a subtle sweetness and nice nuttiness (I think that comes from the rooibos)? I actually didn’t notice the spices until I saw the ingredients here on Steepster. This isn’t a notably spicy tea, just nice and mellow. I like it with soy milk and maybe a bit of sugar, but it doesn’t need much sweetening to bring out the flavor.
Mellow, smooth and creamy as advertised! I’m going to have to try this one iced as well.
A lovely red tea.. though it could have been redder. The flavors work well together. This was my first Good Earth tea and I’ll have to keep Good Earth in mind in the future.
