Organic Masala Chai
A much-loved staple of daily life throughout India. Masala spices and broken leaf Assam combine for a very cozy tea with the perfect amount of body. We prepare it with milk and sugar for a deliciously creamy, sweet and spicy cup. Once you have prepared chai this way say goodbye to the bags and syrups!
Preparing Two Cups of Chai
In a saucepan:
1. bring 2 cups of water to boil
2. add 3–4 teaspoons of chai, cook for 3 minutes
3. add sugar liberally (1.5–2 tbs.) and stir
4. add 1 cup of milk, cook until milk thickens
5. strain, serve, sit back, and enjoy
