I started my CRAZY Day with 3 cups of this! Really nice! I am going to keep this one on tap to give it some proper tasting notes within the next few days! It’s yummy that is for sure…more coming soon!
Giddapahar Special - Darjeeling Second Flush 2011
DRY LEAVES: With a nice bloom, this second flush tea has the characteristic dark brown hue with a some tips present.
INFUSION: The wet leaves turn caramel in color with a strong nose of floral, almond and pepper notes.
CUP: The liquor is a rich amber with a delicate floral fragrance. It has bit of astringency with an overall refreshing effect. This tea makes for a perfect morning cup, as well as for afternoon pick-me-ups.
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: A tea spoon a cup. Steep in near-boiling water for 3-5 minutes.
