From Harney & Sons

Keemun Mao Fengs are early season teas from Anhui Province. This one has lovely tips and delicious hints of cocoa and fruity flavors.

Straight up chocolate and honey, if you try this tea it will be painful to go back to drinking regular blends.

Tried this in-store in Millerton. A delicious black that has a malty and bittersweet chocolate finish. Very nice astringency and strength makes it as interesting and intense on the intake as it is on the aftertaste.

I just got some stuff from these guys, but I’m going to have to keep this one in mind. Sounds good.

It also has fruity aromas in there, like that of raisins. It’s quite good.

What a lovely tea that is quite complex. The nose has nice malty and earthy tones and the finish is smooth and bold. The taste is slightly malty with a little bit of pucker to it. It also has a nice kick to it, I made it fairly strong. Definitely another one from Harney & Sons that is sure to please.

My favorite tea, though it’s a bit too pricey for everyday. It’s just about perfect, more floral than other Keemun,
