Steepster continues to be wonky.
We found out yesterday that my dog has cancer, and its progressed much faster than anyone would have thought. He is having trouble breathing and walking, and we dont think he’s going to last long. I’m devestated.
I think thats why I feel sick, but even so, I’ll throw all the tea I can at the problem. This always helps with headaches/stomach aches. Heartache, not so much.
Sorry for spilling, guys. This is a happy place, and I dont want to drag it down.

I’m so sorry. It’s so difficult to watch someone you love go through that. My thoughts are with you.

My gosh, I’m so sorry. Sometimes your grief or pain or fear feels so much bigger than you think could possibly fit inside of you. I am thinking of you.

I’ve been there, and I’ve been there on Steepster — let it out. Steepster is a happy place — because sensitive people who love their dogs are here posting :) We want to hear and support you. I’m so sorry.

aww! Tea is good for heartache. It’s always sad when that happens to a pet.

Day 6 of my Steepster homemade advent calendar from Kelmishka! I brewed this up as a bedtime tea. As described, the chamomile is redolent of apple. That’s the primary flavor by a mile, but there’s also a nice secondary note of peppermint. I’m not really tasting any ginger though. Overall, very soothing!

It’s really weird I’m liking this one so much since I typically don’t like chamomile, and not much a mint fan - but for some reason this one is very pleasant! I purchased on a sale with the tin and the high ratings of the New York Blend, glad I took the plunge. I don’t get the mint much until the end of the sip, it’s not overpowering, to me it’s almost like chamomile and apples, very soothing and warming, drinking hot. It’s a light tea but flavorful -- I think next time I’ll steep it a bit more. Wouldn’t be bad with a touch of lemon to enhance the ginger. Added one sugar cube.
