A great second flush Darjeeling. Full of body yet balanced with nice fruit notes. Please note it is from “China” tea bushes, meaning the plant stock is descended from Chinese bushes taken to India over 100 years ago.

This Risheehat, compared to our newly harvested first flush, is much darker with a slightly astringent and potentially bitter taste throughout. Over all, nothing bad can be said of this tea and of course all tea is open for personal interpretation and enjoyment!

A good tea for a stressful day. Bold flavors, but not overpowering. Also tastes good at room temp. Which leads me to believe this will be a good iced tea.
