Accidently let this bag steep for 27 minutes :| , and it was STILL awesome. I was busy portioning out some tea samples for fellow Steepster Maxypoo, And then I remembered my tea was steeping.. and I’m like.. $#%@!!!!!!!!!!
But surprisingly… it was not bitter at all. Very, very good on the contrary. Beautiful Thai flavors, lovely hint of vanilla, and oh so smooth and buttery. YUM!

Edit!
My new tea obsession just may be this: warming this back up and turning it into a hot latte, using about 50/50 tea and coconut milk and adding a bit more honey. Coconut milk goes so well with the flavors. Soo soothing. The iced latte version is awesome too, but tonight I’m snuggling up with this in hot latte form curled up in my big fluffy blanky, trying to get myself in a better mood..

You could also make these iced tea packets using half the water recommended and keep the concentrate on hand in your refrigerator for yummy iced and hot lattes. :)

Yep… this has already earned itself a permanent spot on my tea shelf. Harney had sent me a free sample years ago of this and I forgot how much I instantly loved it. Today was like rekindling an old flame. A tasty Thai flame from Bangkok. Those foreign ones, I tell ya… get me every time.

AND WOAH the moon is bright tonight! Actually about took my breathe away as I was coming up the stairs and saw the sky lit up and the moon beaming through the window. Breathtakingly gorgeous. When the moon hits your eye…

Another Harney blend I like is Tokyo Blend: Bancha with toasted sesame seeds and caramel. Very good! :)

DaisyChubb

Oh wow these BOTH sound amazing…! One day I will brave some shipping costs and bring harney into my life :)

Maxime-Daniel Friðrikson

Hum. Interesting. That might be an interesting thing to taste. Hum.

Ashley Bain

I’m sending you a couple packets :)

Ashley Bain

Daisy it’s totally worth it! They were the company that first made me fall in love with tea.

Ashley Bain

and @Daisy – I just ran out of sample packets but when my new ones arrive I’ll send you some Harney samples! :)

DaisyChubb

Sounds good gal pal!!
So many harney teas look amazing! And I have paris, which is amazing but I need mooooore. variety and flavour and uniqueness!

Ashley Bain

DaisyChubb

ashmanra

I have actually dreamed about tea! Is that sad? :)

Ashley Bain

haha. I had tea dreams last night… that’s when you know you’re an addict…….

Ashley Bain

scott I never saw your post! that tea sounds amazing! I have an obsession for toasted sesame seeds. Toasted sesame oil is amazinggg. I put it on cold soba noodles with soy sauce. mmmmm.

ScottTeaMan

Ashley-I haven’t posted yet, but will, when I can find the tin for a fresh cup. I could also post by memory, and will do that as a last resort. :)

Daisy….Harney offers free S & H over $50, and sign up for coupons on their site…sometimes they offer Free S & H with orders over $25 or $35. OK, just a few days ago I used a code for 10% off my order: HSFineTea

Type it just like that with no spaces, and plus you get free S & H if order is over $50!

Ashley Bain

Yay I’d love to your opinion on it, Scott!
I had a free shipping deal for my last order! But now that I think of it.. I spent well over 50, so I suppose I would have had free shipping anyways, haha.

DaisyChubb

Thanks Scott! Does that work for canada too ? I know the last Harney’s birthday offer was only ground shipping in the US, but if this one is for Canada, I will easily spend 50 bucks. Thanks!! I did get a coupon on sign up for 10% so I’m excited to save it for my first order ^^

ashmanra

Coupon code summer12 for 12% off was still working last time i ordered.

ScottTeaMan

eeks….I think it is US Ground Shipping, sorry zi don’t think it’ll work for Canada. :( you can try!!

DaisyChubb

That’s ok, thanks though!
I’m still working up that shipping cost courage folks :D

This is one of the many “Thai Chais”. This cup has a light green base with lemongrass, ginger, coconut, and vanilla. In my opinion that is a beautiful combination. The flavor is pleasant and it makes you want to drink the whole pot in one sitting. This is a good tea for someone who frowns at tea in general. Like all Thai Chais this one sends you to Thailand in your mind.
