Smooth, soothing chamomile is definitely the focus of this blend but there are also some sweet vanilla notes that mix well with the apple/herbal flavours of the chamomile. There’s also a licorice note but it’s nice and subtle and I can smell it in the dry tea bag more than I can taste it in the brewed tea. This tea also seems to work great for relaxing me after a long day at work, which is certainly appreciated!

Tony (my awesome man of 13 years) actually made his first tea order!
He’s been drinking London Tea Room’s ‘Jubilee’, which is an earl grey, for quite some time. He used to drink English breakfast, until he tried earl grey, & now that’s pretty much all he will drink. So he was at a coffeeshop & they had an earl from Ahmad tea, which he really enjoyed, so he ordered some. He knows I like breakfast blends so he ordered some of their English Breakfast for me (because he once heard me say, “There’s no point only ordering one tea. If you’re paying for shipping you might as well order 2 or 3”). I’ve never tried Ahmad teas, so there’s something to look forward to.

This tea came out of Traveling Tea Box ‘A’. I wanted something caffeine free for the evening, so I kept 2 bags. I double bagged it, & I’m glad because there really isn’t a lot there, flavor-wise. I also added stevia, & that helped. It’s ok, passable, & probably my last tea of the night.

I got this in a sampler of other Higher Living teas and at the time, thought nothing of it. When the tea I had planned to drink was, um, ripped, I decided to make this my back up. Now, I have heard that people actually ENJOY drinking Chamomile, but the only chamomile I’ve ever drunk was the terrible blend that Celestial Seasonings makes. Seriously, that blend tastes like chewing on wildflowers and a pinch of dirt, and I worried that that is how chamomile generally tastes. Well, after trying this tea out, I want to say that I now get the liking for chamomile.

The over powering taste of flora is not so potent in this tea, and you can taste all kinds of desserty stuff in the tea. I really couldn’t decide whether it tastes better cold or hot, I decided that they both taste great.

Good luck with your mid terms, every one!

Hard to find a tea with a strong, but not fake vanilla taste. This is it! At least, for an herbal tea. Great for unwinding. One ingredient listed is “lime flower”, which is also known as linden flower. The overall taste is caramelly, which is nice. I don’t LOVE chamomile, and you really can barely taste it in this.
