From Indigo Tea Company

This is a unique oolong tea that has been oxidized 70%, compared to 20-30% for most oolong teas. The tea leaves are exposed to leafhopper insects that take a bite out of each leaf, triggering a partial oxidation of the leaf. After the leaf is more mature and processed, a uniquely fragrance of honey and roses results in this Darjeeling-like tea from Taiwan.

One of my favorite oolongs. The description of honey notes is spot on and I actually notice the honey flavor more when it’s iced.

The leaves are big and beautiful and give two good infusions. I usually add half a teaspoon fresh leaves for a third.

I always have some of this tea on hand and drink it almost every day.
