Not dark like most pu-erhs. It appears to be like most greens. Has nice earthy, spicy smells and similar flavors.
Sheng meaning “Green” in Chinese, this unoxidized Pu-Erh delivers the same earthiness of a black Pu-Erh, but without the astringency or bitterness. Both rustic and complex in flavor profile. This is a great introduction to sheng pu-erh, which has already been matured for 3 years.
