Rooibos & Honeybush Bushbabies

Honeybush Rooibos Blend by Intaba Teas of Africa

For thousands of years, the SAN people of Africa (or BUSHmen, as some call them) have lived in harmony with NATURE. They knew the secrets of the earth and their medicine men used both the ROOIBOS (Red Bush) and HoneyBUSH plants growing wild in the mountains around the Cape in South Africa for their healthful properties. Of course, what they also knew was just how delicious a brew these plants make!

Intaba BUSHbabies got wise to the secret of the BUSH people and combined the TWO most delicious brews for a wholesome and refreshing drink. The soothing effect of Rooibos, complemented by the naturally sweet taste of Honeybush, makes Intaba Bushbabies the ideal drink for young ones. Healthy, calming and sweet tasting – great hot OR iced!

We have not added anything to nature’s goodness – In South Africa, Rooibos and Honeybush tea are known to be recommended for children – even babies – because of their health benefits. Intaba Bushbabies is naturally caffeine free, contains natural anti-oxidants and minerals and is organically certified. Unlike most herbal teas, one can add milk when serving it hot, and iced, it’s a great thirst quencher after playtime. Kids love the naturally sweet taste

When I poured a cup of this, Mama France said that it smelled like medicine. Since she’s still recovering from sedation, I’m not considering her opinion valid.

It’s a deep amber in color. It tastes equally of honeybush and rooibos. It’s a fantastic blend when you want something calm, soorthing, and basic. No flavorings, nothing fancy, just a good, delicious cup.

So I absolutely loved the “fall back” this morning. But now that it’s afternoon, and the sun is already starting to creep down, I’m feeling a major afternoon slump coming on. I let the tea randomizer (jaydee.net) pick out this tea. It took a few goes to pick a decaf that I had at my desk. It’s a good, basic, no-frills cup that’s amazingly soothing this afternoon.

I wanted something calm and frill-less. This fits the bill. It’s delicious and calm and yummy.
