Enchanted Forest

Green Tea by Joy's Teaspoon

This blend of mellow Sencha and spicy, green mate is a real surprise. It captivates not only with its striking look, but also develops a completely new and aromatic taste. The tempting aroma of Black Forest Cherry cakes, refined with a little sweetness and attractively decorated, make this blend a much sought-sfter specialty. An exceptional creation which proves that tea always has something new to offer.

Another wonderful tea from Joy’s.
The buttery nutty sencha gives a lovely backdrop to the flavors of almond and cherry allowing for a creamy milky mouthfeel!
A little more pricey than ESP’s of the same name but I have not tried that one yet.
What I love about this is you can in fact still taste the base of this blend quite well.
My daughter and husband also enjoyed this one very much and it was nice to have a cup of tea with them.
Hubby said it was “tasty and no over powering and for me just right”
Its sweet but not cloying and the cherry flavor does not have that funny after taste commonly found with cherry flavored teas.
I am in love with Joy’s teas – oh and she has a MEAN oregano as well! I have been sprinkling it on top of everything I have ate today! VERY aromatic and flavorful. Well okay thats not tea related but wanted to give it a mention :)

Wow…now this one is good. It does have a black forest type feel to it and the almond flavor is just amazing. Thank you “Joy’s Teaspoon” for sending me this sample. I will have to get more when I run out. Love…love…love it. :-)

Yay! This is my real 300th review. I had to delete one that showed up as a duplicate. So happy!

Thanks to the awesome Naomi at Joy’s Teaspoon for this sample. I am in love with Joy’s Teaspoon!
The teas at Joy’s Teaspoon have a knack for being aromatic and tasteful – a tough job. But someone’s gotta do it, and Joy’s Teaspoon does!
I am a nut for anything almond so this almond tea, naturally, will be a cupboard staple. I taste the black forest notes, but it’s not black forest overkill. The almond comes through naturally and the aftertaste resembles toasted almonds. This truly is enchanting – a very appropriate name for an utterly blissful tea!
P.S. I accidentally over-steeped this one the second time around, but the tea handled itself well. The almond taste was even stronger so I was OK with my tea taboo.

Made this for the second time and this amazing tea lasted strong through THREE steepings! Not all teas can even make it through a second steeping. (OK, and yes some nasty teas barely survive one steeping…)

I am in love with Joy’s Teaspoon. I will be back again and again and again…

This arrived today as as sample from Joy’s Teaspoon. It’s finally a sunny, somewhat warm day here in Pennsylvania and this tea is suiting that mood perfectly. The aroma of the dry leaf smells strongly of sweet-tart cherry, but the brew is more mellow. Mellow green tea blends with smooth almond flavor and leaves a sweet/slightly sour cherry note on the tip of your tongue at the finish. I love it.

The first of the samples I just got from Joy’s Teaspoon!

Even dry, this tea has a lot going on: lots of small green leaves with liberal sprinkles of red and blue. And the ALMONDS, oh dear, the almonds. It reminded me of sniffing pure almond extract! I love almonds, mind you, but it was a little much and I wonder what the smell would be like if the almond didn’t overpower everything else.

The taste is also mostly almond, but it doesn’t completely overwhelm the rest of the flavors. I notice a light flowery taste and some kind of berry (although given that there’s no mention of berries on the ingredient list, I assume that’s an illusion). There’s a pleasant light sweetness to it as well, and I feel no need to add anything else to make it sweeter.

My sample will make another cup or two, so I’m going to hold off on giving this a number rating until I’m out of it.

I really want to love this, but I don’t think I can. This would be a perfect medley of flavors, but whatever method was used to add the almond just ruined it completely — it tastes completely unnatural and weird.

The babies are down for nap and the girls are playing Potato Head. Papa won’t be home for almost six hours and the day’s about to get crazy. I’m sipping Enchanted Forest and taking a moment to relax before the babies wake up and it’s all mommy all the time.

Planned to have it iced this morning, but melted the last of my ice before the tea was chilled. Sad face for tepid tea, but it still tastes great.

THIS SMELLS DIVINE!
It also tastes awesome too.

Upping my rating.
Why is Joy so awesome. Out of all the tea I’ve tasted in the past half a year since I started the addiction, I know I’m sticking with this company.
(They make the best spiced teas!!! yummm)
Also in my order with this tea was a huge chunk of spicy chai, sun kissed jasmine, and a bit of spicy pear. And now they carry ayuverdic blends! aahhhh!!!
