I received this one in a tea swap. It’s very woodsy-smelling. It’s dark in color but not a pure black. I thought it would be stronger based on the aroma. It’s actually quite nice.

My local Chinese place gives this out with carry out orders. It’s pretty much the classic Chinese restaurant tea. Very nice with my sweet and sour chicken. :)
This is my first Oolong tea, and I love it!
My water cooler unloads steaming hot water into a favorite tea mug. The teabag steeps about 240+ seconds and I’ll sip while very hot. The hotter the the better. The smell is woodsy, but still aromatic. When my nose is stuffy, I’ll try to smell it and sometimes it unblocks my nasal passage (about 55% of the time).
Great stuff, plus a great price. Local China House charges $1.25 per 20. I may contact vendor to order a box of 600…but it could be overkill.
Cheers,
