just received as part of my black tea by mail subscription. first cup brewed only for two minutes. very light flavour, subtle with milk & sugar.

“Champagne of Tea”. Like Champagne it is a luxury product and is sold at high prices.
Darjeeling in fact is a region in India which lies in the southern slopes of the Himalayan Mountains. The slopes are very steep with a lot of sunshine but cool climate. Due to the special conditions the tea grows in, the tea has a very distinct and unique flavour and is impossible to replicate anywhere else in the world.
