I am seriously loving all the tea I recently purchased from the Koni Tea Company. I wish the price was not as expensive but they are definitely quality products. This is a delicious earthy pu-erh with a nice sweetness, the buttercotch really comes through. I can’t attest to it’s weight loss capabilities -if tea really made you thinner I would be a total stick by now. Even so, this is a lovely tea to have with breakfast or after dinner if you aren’t sensitive to the caffeine.

Pu-erh tea, found in Caramel Slender, is widely used as an after-meal beverage due to its famed ability to break down fat, and lower bad cholesterol and blood pressure, helping to smooth digestion. Koni pu-erh tea invigorates the spleen, disinhibits dampness, clears stomach heat, descends stomach qi and counteracts alcohol toxins. Pu-erh’s ability to aid fat metabolism, especially in Koni teas, can assist in weight loss. Antioxidants called flavonoids, found in pu-erh teas, reduce blood pressure, strengthen arteries, and lower the amount of LDL or ‘bad’ cholesterol in the blood stream.
