Glenburn Estates First Flush Spring Leaf Darjeeling

Black Tea by KTeas

Fresh from the bush at Glenburn to your cup!
Savor Glenburn Estate’s First Flush Darjeeling tea, picked on 20 March 2011. Only the finest tender shoots from Glenburn’s clonal sections, picked during the onset of Spring, will do for this delightfully light liquor, bright and smooth on the palate. Don’t miss the full aroma, the citrus flowers and peach undertones in this personification of the first harvest of the growing season, brought to you from the heights of the Himalayas in Darjeeling, India.

We obtained 24 pouches of this First Flush Darjeeling from Glenburn, 8 ounces (227 grams) each. At 2.5g per 7oz of water, per Glenburn’s recommendation, that makes about 90 teacups of this first-class Darjeeling tea for 53ยข per cup!

I LOVE THIS!
Plain and simple! I LOVE IT!
Thanks LiberTEAs

This is gentle and smooth. A very lightly colored brown liquor post infusion.

I really like this. Probably one of my FAVE Darjeelings to date! Very fresh, VERY Springy!!!! No astringency at all! Not earthy…just clean and springy!

Having one last cuppa before sending a bit off to a friend. YES…I’m still sending envelopes and packages out and will be for the rest of December! LOL – If you haven’t gotten yours – I hope to send it soon!

This is delightful, btw…read previous notes :)

One of my favorite Darjeelings to date! Today this is airy and slightly sweet bright and crisp. See previous notes…
