From Kusmi Tea

Russian Morning n°24 is a skillful combination of three unflavoured orthodox teas: a delicately-flavoured Chinese black tea, a Ceylon black tea with delicate, lightly-twisted leaves and a round mouthfeel and chocolatey flavour and
a black tea from India, full-bodied and strong.
The blend of these three unflavoured orthodox teas makes for a well-balanced tea that is full-bodied enough to be ideal for drinking in the morning.

We suggest to enjoy this tea in the morning.

SUGGESTIONS FOR PREPARING

I love this tea, but only because I need something to wake me up in the morning, and it does the job very well—it’s got a somewhat nutty flavor too. However, I would not drink it during the day.

Yum, this is a fine black tea! The taste is so mild — sometimes black tea is very overpowering. I found it to be a bit one-note, but perhaps following Kusmi’s advice of adding milk or sugar may help the flavor. I tried leaving the bag in the second time I steeped it because the tea was so mild-tasting, but this just resulted in bitterness. Do not leave the bag in for this one.

“The taste is so mild” – This was exactly my feeling after having it for the first time this morning. I need something with a stronger taste. I have a full 125 g caddy to take care the next weeks, therefore let’s see how my perceptions change.

After drinking it for two weeks every morning I can truly say I love it. It doesn’t seem to be mild. It has a nice deep smokey taste that stays with you for some time after you finished with it. My mistake was that I was using less tea then I should.

I’m really enjoying this tea. It’s a nice brisk tea, by appearance and taste it has a good deal of Assam in the blend, with a hint of Russian smokiness to it.
