From La Flor

All Natural. Tilia Flowers make a soothing tasty tea, common throughout Europe. Cosmetically, Linden is said to be good for the skin and stimulates hair growth. Bathing the face with the tea is said to help against freckles, wrinkles and impurities of the skin.

Steep Linden Flowers in 1 pint of boiling water for about a half hour. Strain and drink just as you would drink any other tea. This tea is especially good for people who suffer from insomnia or people who are nervous.

I suppose I finally reached a point where I’d just slept too much because last night I had such bad insomnia. Then I remembered that this was one of the teas that came with in the Butiki Herbal Blending Box, and it says specifically on the little tube that it’s good for insomnia…

So, at three in the morning I brewed this up. I don’t think it actually did much to make me feel tired – but it tasted alright. The taste’s kind of hard to explain though. The first thing that came to mind as it was steeping was ‘smells like fresh linens’ but that’s not exactly right, is it? I liked it though! It was soft, and herby in a unique way.
