Tea colour: black tea
Aspect: leaves with plenty of downy buds.
Colour: touches of pale green and dark green.
Scents: fresh floral and vegetal notes (cut grass) along with heavier, sweeter notes (butter, toasted).
Scents: a rich, intense bouquet: floral (rose, orange blossom), sweet vanilla and fruit (yellow fruit) combined with and vegetal notes.
Colour: a clear, gleaming liquor with a golden yellow colour.
Texture: a thick texture to start followed by an astringency that develops in the middle and back of the palate, giving this tea a good length.
Flavours: a touch of sweetness and a hint of acidity.
Aromas: a very floral attack (rose, orange blossom) with sweet vanilla (vanilla sugar), milky and almond (almond milk) notes followed by pronounced vegetal aromas (fresh grass, green mint, aniseed) and a hint of fruit (yellow fruit, apricot).
Aromatic profile and length in the mouth: a lovely continuous succession of notes.
The Highland garden is situated in the subdivision of Kurseong at an altitude of around 1,450 metres. This plucking has a thick, round texture and is very long in the mouth. It offers a harmonious succession of delicious floral, vanilla, almond and yellow fruit notes, with a lingering vegetal quality (fresh herbs).
