A complex buttery cup. There’s overtones of chestnut, warm spinach, and some edamame. A kelpier cup than I’m used to with Chinese greens, but still very pleasant. Has an incredible, smooth velvety mouthfeel that holds.
Green tea from Anhui Province. This exquisite tea comes from the north slope of Taiping County’s famous Huangshan mountains. The flushing leaves are naturally scented by the wild cymbidium adjacent to tea plants. Delightful to watch steeping and delicious to taste. A classic.
“Le Roi” is composed of very large, whole leaves, flattened broadly.
