I received this tea from a blog contest run by our very own LiberTEAS and TeaEqualsBliss. This is one tea that I was a bit apprehensive about since I’ve not always enjoyed floral teas in the past. However, I should not have been afraid of this one! This tea is absolutely great! Very feminine and nicely balanced. This is what every jasmine or rose tea aspires to be. The tea does not taste like perfume or soap, just nicely light and floral. I think the lemon myrtle really sets it over the top though! Great job, LiberTEAS!

Oh, and according to the nice personalized letter from LiberTEAS that I received with my package, the second infusion is better than the first….stay tuned!

Had this tea once again and it was great. I’m so sad that I won’t be able to get this blend again. I will enjoy it while it lasts though.

Tonight, nothing else but this delicious, floral, and well balanced tea would do! You know a tea is good when you start to crave it.

I was putting off making tea tonight because I couldn’t decide on a particular flavor. Enter this lovely green by LiberTEAS…just the perfect thing to sip while watching a movie.

I had this tea earlier and it was perfect as always. It was a delicious tea to have before my nap. I am definitely rationing this one.

This tea is slightly addictive and I’m going through my 2 oz alarmingly quickly! I am nursing a cold and sinus issues, so Potpourri tea to the rescue! The nice floral aspect is very soothing and, of course, delicious.

I’s just finishing up a sample of this and it’s VERY beautiful and interesting. It wasn’t much for scent…UNTIL…the hot water hit the dry leaf blend. POW! Aroma!!!! I thought I was walking thru a glorious flower garden! This was wonderful yet a little scary because then I thought it would be too floral or have a funky aftertaste but it was very good! The aftertaste was pleasant and my palate was very pleased. You can taste the gunpowder but you can also taste the flowers! It’s a neat blend!

The name absolutely fits this one! Potpourri! It’s light yet flavorful – floral and semi sweet at the end of the sip. Feminine. Nice. Relaxing.

inching the rating on this one…rosy and green…pretty darn tasty :)

I won this in a SororiTEA Sisters contest (a tea review blog, you should go give it a look).

It’s a very frou frou floral tea, not vegetal at all. I wish there were a bit less lemon flavor though.

This is one of my favorite green teas. I love the way rose and jasmine work together in a blend. The lemon myrtle is very light and does not impose upon the floral essences, and the laurel provides an interesting balance to the cup. It’s a very relaxing and restorative cup … just what I need after (starting) to clean my art studio (what a mess!)

In honor of our contest that’s running for the rest of this week, I decided to brew some of this and ice it.

This is one that is very good both hot or iced. The jasmine and lemony notes really come through nicely when it’s cold.

Since it’s my own blend, I’m not going to numerically rate it (it’s kind of hard for me to be unbiased about my own teas)… but, if I were to rate it, I’d give it a very strong 100. (hehe)

A lovely tea hot, with lemon and floral and just as lovely cold brewed. Altogether a very nice blend. It’s also quite pretty and smells good.
