Vanilla Bean Creme

Black Tea by Lindsay's Teas

Pieces of vanilla bean and tasty creamy notes of vanilla blended with Ceylon Orange Pekoe from Sri Lanka are just too sweet and perfect to pass up for dessert. Comforting on cold days or after a fine meal. All Natural Flavors.

Ah, yum. Just what I needed for a drizzly afternoon with a movie.

Mixing in some used Keemun Congou leaves just to give it a bit of a kick.

I just wish that this tea was more lasting, in terms of the leaves. It is good for one large pot, if I leave it a while to steep, but steeping a second large pot is impossible.

How strange, halfway through the first travel mug for today of this tea and it has a bit of an aftertaste like pipe tobacco. It is not bad, just strange, and something I have never tasted in this tea before.

Second travel mug is much better. I don’t even have the leaves steeping still, and yet somehow it tastes more like vanilla bean than the first mug did.

Coming back to once again log my teas with Steepster. A tasty pot of tea indeed. I still do wish the leaves lasted longer.

Good tea for my morning cuppa (or two or four…)
