Mixing in some used Keemun Congou leaves just to give it a bit of a kick.
I just wish that this tea was more lasting, in terms of the leaves. It is good for one large pot, if I leave it a while to steep, but steeping a second large pot is impossible.
How strange, halfway through the first travel mug for today of this tea and it has a bit of an aftertaste like pipe tobacco. It is not bad, just strange, and something I have never tasted in this tea before.
Second travel mug is much better. I don’t even have the leaves steeping still, and yet somehow it tastes more like vanilla bean than the first mug did.
Coming back to once again log my teas with Steepster. A tasty pot of tea indeed. I still do wish the leaves lasted longer.
Good tea for my morning cuppa (or two or four…)
