Cofftea

Their diet citrus bottled tea was the 1st tea I had after Nestea’s sweetened instant black and I loved that til I started drinking unsweetened tea. And I have a rootbeer black tea that I love to make concentrated, chill, then add sparkling water to… so this interests me…

This stuff is weak. It’s like club soda with a hint of strawberry and shame. I think I’d be better off getting a travel mug and carrying that around as opposed to abusing my senses by experimenting with bottled tea.

I actually really like this, surprisingly enough. I thought it would be gross — sparkling tea, blech. But it’s nice and light and refreshing. I’m trying to drink less pop, and this is a good substitute for it, I think. I think the strawberry/kiwi flavor is very pleasing.

There’s something strange about this tea that I can’t put my finger on. It’s not the carbonation since I’m a big fan of carbonated drinks and I carbonate all kinds of drinks on my own (homebrewer). I’m generally not sensitive in any way to artificial sweeteners or flavors but something in this tea doesn’t sit right with me. I’ve had it a few times now and every time it seems to give me a minor stomach ache. The regular Lipton Green Tea bottles w/o CO2 are good for what they are but I wouldn’t recommend this stuff.
