Surprisingly good berry flavor. This was a gift from a co-worker. This is much better than I thought it would be. Smooth black tea with berry flavor. Bet this would be good with cream and sugar too. Yum.

It’s okay but not something I reach for much. A fruity flavor for sure but you can really sense/taste the “just hot water” underneath too if this makes sense. Also a bit lemony. I think most of the issues may be from the flavorings they use, perhaps they cheap out on it.

This is a very safe fruity tea that my friends seem to enjoy. I don’t prefer it all that much, though.

I’ve been drinking a lot of “berry” teas lately…I think subconsciously I’m getting myself ready for the fruity tastes and smells of late spring and summer. :) Most of the berry teas I’ve ever had have been herbal teas, without an actual “tea” basis, just brewed herbs and leaves with fruit flavoring. However, if you’re more into actual tea leaves, and a stronger taste, I’ve found the right berry tea for you: Lipton’s Bavarian Wild Berry Black Tea.

This is a flavored black tea made with pieces of real berries, packaged nicely in Lipton’s awesome little pyramid bags. (I love the pyramid bags – you can actually see the fruit pieces basically open up after steeping, and the smell and taste are much stronger.) Here’s the tea’s official ingredient list: Black tea, dried apple pieces, rose hip peel, chicory root, cinnamon bark, licorice root, modified corn starch, natural flavor, dried blackberry pieces, dried black currant pieces, ginger root, orange peel, dried blueberry pieces, dried raspberry pieces. That’s a lot of fruit pieces, people. The fruit never overwhelms the black tea though – the strong black tea is just as easy to taste as all of the wonderful fruit.

I haven’t tried the tea iced yet, but I’m guessing that like most teas, it tastes even better hot. I let my bag steep for 3-4 minutes in boiling water. Each bag has 80 mg of Flavonoids per serving (that’s a good thing), and 20 mg of caffeine per serving.

Final say: The tea smells fantastic, and tastes just as good – this one’s a must-try.

Bought this on a trip to my local supermarket. They were on sale 2 for $7. I bought this flavor & something else. I’ve already forgotten the other flavor!

I liked it. I liked the smell & there is a good berry flavor. Definitely one I would buy again. I keep a box at work to grab when I am in the mood. I like the smell in my desk drawer from it. It actually overpowers my other teas, but not in a bad way.

As grocery store teas go, it’s one of my favourites.

I’m at my fiancé’s place and starting off the day with this tea. I was very surprised with this tea. It has a very tasty berry flavor. The aroma is almost like cobbler. I love that you can get multiple steeps out of this. Well done Lipton!

Had some this morning. I received it as a gift, and since I’m not terribly crazy about it, I’m really only drinking it to free up some space in the cupboard. It’s alright, but it really doesn’t compare to loose leaf tea. Like others have said, it tastes more like a fruity herbal infusion than black tea with fruit. I wouldn’t discount this line entirely, though; Lipton’s Island Mango and Peach white tea is much better quality.

Enjoyed this with lunch to give me an energy boost.
Even though this was one of my older forgotten teas, it still brewed Nicely and smelled delicious.
Obviously the flavor would have been better if it had been fresh and sealed.

Simple- this tea is pretty yum. It’s a very bold flavor from a bunch of stuff… so it makes you feel like you’re the only 150lb guy at a sumo wrestling party. If you’re in the mood for a fruit party in your mouth.. you’ll like this. One thing I noticed is it’s very forgiving of the brew.

I love this fruity tea very much ! It smells SO good, and the taste is great. Doesn’t taste a lot black tea leafs, but for tea in a bag, it’s real good !

Très très fruité, il sent vraiment bon et goûte le bon thé, même s’il est en sachet.

As far as bag tea goes, this flavor by Lipton is in the mid- to upper-range in terms of quality and taste. It’s not my favorite Lipton bag tea and certainly doesn’t beat loose tea, but it’s still pretty good. Works well in the morning or early afternoon.

This is by far my favorite morning tea to warm up in the freezing cold office. The fruity, very slightly spicy flavor is wonderful. When it’s time to switch to iced tea, it makes a fabulous iced tea as well. This is sold out in every store down in Raleigh, NC, where I live!! I have to order it from amazon. It doesn’t get really strong very fast, you have to steep it for a while. Just keep tasting it till you get what’s right for you!

My girlfriend had some of this tea, the smell is fairly enticing but I felt the berry taste was much too strong and it tasted more of hot juice than tea, I like the pyramid idea although this is the only one I’ve tried

James Bickers

Good but not outstanding. Very fruity – more fruit flavor than tea flavor.

This tea is so disappointing. When Lipton first came out with these “pyramid” teas, they marketed them like they were some unique, new idea… nevermind that several other companies have been making those for years. Lipton’s pyramid pouches are so small, and the actual tea is pretty low-quality. The taste is mediocre—this blend is nothing special. I like some Lipton bagged teas, but this kind isn’t worth drinking.
