Madura Pure Assam

Black Tea by Madura of Australia

Madura Tea Estates is situated in sub-tropical northern NSW, Australia, in a world heritage area of pristine rainforests, unpolluted rivers and streams of eco-sensitive farming and care for the environment.

The sub-tropical teas of Assam, in northeast India, are grown at near sea level. However, the higher latitudes in which they are grown trigger a period of cold winter dormancy, after which the teas produced are characterized by a unique rich aroma, clear dark red liquor and malty taste. The sub-tropical teas of Assam are unmatched for this unique quality amongst other tea producing nations and as such are much sought by discriminating tea drinkers around the world.

Preparation:
As we use superior leaf grades, not dusts, please use fresh, boiled water and brew for 4 minutes, or less, as suits your palate. Assam, taken with or without milk, make an ideal breakfast tea.

A review of Pure Assam Tea by Madura of Australia

I am using freshly boiled water as recommended for this finely leaf grade. I pour the water into my cup with one tea bag and let is steep for 4 minutes as recommended.
I must say that each tea bag is individually sealed and at times one can hear the granules stir within the package. When removing the sealed bag, I notice that the strings are similar in style to another tea company that I had tried recently. And I did not have trouble with the string. No matter.

Tea’s color is lovely amber or I should say more the color of mahogany. I decide to have this tea with granulated sugar (one teaspoon) added to my cup and stirred until dissolved.

This tea was to have been already a sweeten malt flavor so the added sugar makes it more creamy and smooth even.

It is a good cup of Assam tea, one that I will have again and again.

I am always reminded when reviewing this tea box that the leaves are “superior leaf grades and not dust.” Using freshly drawn water and putting this in a pan and leaving to boil and I take one tea bag and put this in my cup and then pour the water over the tea bag. I leave it to steep for four minutes.

After the allotted time, I remove the cover from the cup. The tea’s color is a dark red liquor and when tasted it is malty. This tea is full in body with nothing hidden in the tasting or coloring. Clarity is what this tea seems to be about; when you first taste it and when you take your last sip it is liken to first sip. Overall, a well-rounded tea.

This is to be Australia’s finest tea; grown and packaged in Australia.
I am using freshly boiled water and having placed on tea bag in my cup I pour in the hot water leaving it to steep for four minutes. I am trying for the longest steep but it is to be suited to one’s palate.

This is an ideal breakfast tea. Tea’s color is a clear dark red liquor. The aroma is sweet and has a mildly roasted scent. Tea taste very malty and sweetly smooth.

In all this is a wonderful tea to experience in the morning with milk and sugar while plotting out daily activities.

Plenty going on, an complex, even exotic flavour, yet is really smooth. Gives you a nice lift and doesn’t drop you! Beautiful.

I seldom purchase supermarket teas, but I really quite enjoy Madura teas, especially this one and their english breakfast. They both taste lovely.
