From Mahamosa Gourmet Teas, Spices & Herbs

An extraordinary blend of black and green teas characterized by strikingly colorful ingredients that create an delightful tasting experience. The sweet papaya interplays harmoniously with the tartness of the intensely red, shining rose hip peel. This flavorful blend is lightly flavored with the full, fruity flavors of select, high quality, exotic but also popular domestic fruits. This blend makes for a great iced tea.

Ingredients: Black tea, green tea, papaya cubes (papaya, sugar), rose hip peel, flavoring, sunflower blossoms.

This tea is good, but not mind-blowing. Maybe I’m jaded? I drank some favorites earlier so it’s hard to compete with that… This is a pleasant black/green mix with a bit of strawberry jam flavoring that I like, but it’s nothing I could live without. I wouldn’t refuse it though. It’s good. It’s just hard to compete with all the exceptional teas out there.

Thanks Sil for letting me try it!
And I’m at 160!!!
(I might go back up when my Butiki order arrives, but I don’t think it’s even shipped yet so I have time!)

go go gadget sipdowns!

:P I’m hoping I can push my numbers down steadily so that when you go to US and buy like crazy, we’ll meet in the middle!

Not too much tea drinking today as I slept in super late and then got called to cover someone else’s shift at work but at least there is some time for a couple cups before bed. Sipping on this now, it is pleasant enough but not really something I will miss when I pass the rest of the sample on to Cavocorax. The strawberry is subtle but adds a nice sweetness to the cup while the green tea in the base helps lighten up the black tea. Thank you Sil for the chance to try this as it is definitely something that would have caught my eye and now I know it’s not something I would need to stock.

:D those are the best kind of teas…. teas you can cross OFF your list lol

That is very true.

Card and Tea Travelling Tea Box

This one is from earlier in the day and i have to say, that as i haven’t tried a lot of Mahamosa teas (yet) i was looking forward to giving this one a shot. Turns out, this one wasn’t too bad. There’s a nice fruity taste to this one, though to be fair i don’t recall just how strawberry like it was heh. I just know that it was a pleasant cup while i had a VERY productive day working from home!

Yay for being productive and trying new things!

It doesn’t count as breaking my “no tea purchase for awhile” resolve if I order for someone else. My mom asked me to order some of the Jackfruit for a friend of hers and this was one of the samples they included.

This was nice and fruity. The description doesn’t mention strawberry specifically but it sure does smell like strawberry! Nicely fruity and lightly sweet. This was a nice tea to have tried. I wouldn’t keep it on hand myself but it would probably make a nice iced summer tea.

And by the way, if you are looking for companies with great customer service the folks at Mahamosa are just super. I completely spaced putting the discount code in at checkout and emailed them about it. They added it on to my order without any issues.
