All our teas, herbal and fruit ingredients are 100% organic, meaning they grow at natural speed without the help of chemicals. They are certified by the Organic Food Federation. We think this makes them taste much better as well as being OK for the environment. Our English Breakfast tea comes from organic estates in Assam in India. We have recently introduced our official Fairtrade English Breakfast tea from the same organic estates, and we are planning to bring you more Fairtrade products in the future.
The tea smells a lot more smokey and woodsy than Yorkshire or Devonshire. It tastes a bit lighter when drank with milk. Not too bad… but not my favorite. Still brews a nice cuppa and is good for waking up.
Definitely was won over by their marketing though. The little tea dude is so cute and the tin is fantastic!
Tea bags from local DJ. Not a bad drink but like a lot of assam tea I’ve had doesn’t stand up to milk well and isn’t quite nice enough to drink black. A good standby for when I run out of Yorkshire tea.
