Ali Shan High Mountain Jin Xuan (Milky Oolong)
Day Lilly Oolong, also called Jin Xuan, is named after the grandmother of a great Taiwanese tea researcher, Dr. Wu. He worked for the Taiwan Council of Agriculture and spent 43 years perfecting this new cultivar.
The tea is characterized by its rich creamy aroma, with a hint of vanilla. But each steeping brings out a different complex of flavors of Daylily Oolong. The first brew has a smooth mouthfeel with a refreshing aftertaste. Subsequent steeps bring out its graceful sweetness, lingering on your taste buds. The characteristic of this tea is like a pretty high school sweetheart with stunning smile full of sunshine! Energetic and lovely!
