The cake is made by using Bada materials from Menghai area.
The cake has been classified as one of our ‘10 year anniversary’ series products – only the best fits the bill. It’s on par with the best you know in Pu-erh tea, we are confident about it.
Yunhe Tea Factory won both Gold and Silver awards recently in Guangzhou Tea Expo, it was known to make some very clean good quality products as we all hate some foreign objects got into our teas, thus we selected Yunhe Tea Factory as our new manufacturing partner in Menghai.
As you could figure out from the picture, the cake was tightly compressed, it was made by mixing multiple grade tea leaves to preserve its richness. We believe it would turn into something wonderful in just a few years.

It was so tightly compressed that I ended up ruining a good amount on my first attempt at loosening. Luckily, once I got the hang of it, and brewed a pot, I was impressed. Even forgetting for a moment that it is a choppy leaf, the taste is very smooth and full. I will definitely order again.
