This one really hit its stride around steep 4 for me today. I used more leaf than usual (1tsp/4oz) and shorter steep times (1-3 minutes), trying to treat it like the green/oolong blend it is. I get the vanilla and jasmine flavors more than caramel, and nothing I recognize as vegetal, so I’ll try to compare this to Golden Moon’s Vanilla Jasmine in the near future.

I was going to make this a note-less log, but when steep 4 came out the best yet I felt compelled to comment!
ETA: For the curious, I ended up steeping this seven times, with 4 and 5 being my favorites, so I’m bumping the rating for endurance. Don’t give up if the first steep or two is harsh!

I’m always impressed with flavored teas whose flavor lasts through multiple steeps. Steep 5 was likewise good, and I just noticed from the description that this is supposed to taste of citrus and spice?! Not what I get from it at all, but it is very tasty.

This is one that had been on my shopping list for a while, so I finally broke down and placed an order.

This is an enchanting Oolong tea. The dry leaf smells very floral. I can taste the jasmine notes in there. It has a smooth, rich mouthfeel although it’s not as rich as a typical green Oolong. A very pleasant floral flavor, however, the floral notes do mask some of the Oolong flavors.

It is a good tea if you’re looking for floral flavor, but as far as Oolong flavor – not so much. It is tasty, though.

The more I drink this, the more I like it. Toward the end of the cup, I noticed a sweet caramel-y note that was positively sublime! The second infusion is still floral but a bit more distinct in flavor… I can taste hints of lavender as well as the jasmine in there. Still not a lot on Oolong flavor, but, even so, it’s quite good, and deserves a higher rating than I gave it… so I shall increase it!


I haven’t tried this one yet!!!


A good tea is a memorable one and this one I do remember.

I decided to switch over to this – I think I was in the mood for something girly. I haven’t had this tea in a while and I can’t quite place the blend of flavors, vanilla, flowery, lavender something or other? It’s quite sweet and aromatic, a nice choice to just wind the evening down… it is very flavored I admit.


Sounds interesting! I will have to keep an eye out for this one!


I can send you some if you’d like…. it is pretty strongly scented though. :)

I love oolongs, and this is yet another that would make my list. I had no reference at all for this, I love it when I have no previous knowledge of a tea and can taste it unbiased. The vanilla stood out to me, but it took a little while to be sure. So I would say it is understated, which is never a problem with vanilla flavor. Admittedly, I didn’t notice a high floral content, again, like the vanilla it was subtle. Thanks to Indigobloom for another new and different tea to try!

Wow a vanilla tea that I kinda like!! wheeee! but it does make me feel a little queasy. Not much, which is great! it’s very deep.
I didn’t want to push it so only went through two steeps. The second one was sweeter but otherwise more or less the same.

Thank you LiberTEAS I am so happy to have been able to try this. It is rather good. Now don’t get what I am about to say wrong. This stuff reminds me of Grape Soda but it doesn’t taste like it. It is weird but like I said good. It is fruity but soft, it doesn’t have a tang, sharpness or bite like some fruity teas do. That may be why I like it. It also has a floral aspect to it and both fruit and floral balance very well. The floral is mellow too. What can I say I like it. :-)

Such a puzzling tea… First impression of the dry leaf: black licorice? Flavor: Woosh! Strong and sassy, no wonder they call it peacock! ;) Definitely getting the floral, and near the end of the sip, I can denote the caramel too. This one is a little frolic in the mouth.

Dry, this has an intriging scent. Soft and citrus-y, with a little bit of jasmine. Steeped, I can smell the oolong much more but I still get hints of citrus. The taste, however, isn’t so exciting. Don’t get me wrong, it is nice, but I was expecting something a little more complex based on the scent. I can really only taste the oolong base and citrus. The jasmine is noticeable at the end of the sip, but other floral notes are evident throughout the sip, although they are faint.

This tea is so strange! It’s almost a little too strange.. to the point where I want to stop drinking, but can’t. It’s very difficult to describe. There is a definitely hearty sensation that I’m getting, but the floral component adds a delicate touch. The taste is a bit like savory millet mixed with stinky jasmine flowers and a honeysuckle finish. The end of the sip is sweet, but only just enough to leave your mouth intrigued. I’m glad that I got to try this tea and it’s likely the most unique blend I’ve had so far! Thank you to Amy Oh for a sample!
