Rooibos is not bad as far as tisanes go. This particular one is sweet and comforting with tropical flavors (passion fruit, peach, etc). A perfect evening uplifter.

Strong herbal, sweet, “weird” smell. Surprising bland taste. Very pungent flowery and fruity aftertaste that lasts forever.

The taste is pretty benign, but there’s something about the smell and lingering aftertaste that makes my stomach turn. I think that rooibos just isn’t for me.

This was part of my variety box . I really like this rooibos . Had it plain , no sweeteners . I’m probably going to buy a box of it in the future .

Though I was initially skeptical (smelled a little like Robitussin), I actually like it a lot. The hibiscus flavor really does it for me. Echoing previous reviews, the aroma is much stronger than the taste.

Tastes just like a warm, rooibusy version of the Cheesecake Factory’s Tropical Iced Tea, and I mean that in the best way possible.

This was part of the variety pack in a tin I’d purchased at Nordstrom’s. It brewed up well, but didn’t seem to have much of a scent. I took three sips and had to pour this out. There was a strange taste that I can only say reminded me strongly of the sweetness with the bitter under-flavor you got from cough syrup as a child. I don’t know if it’s the “tropical” flavor or what, but it was horrible.

First impression is a strong smell of hibiscus, so immediately I thought cough syrup. The tea, however, has a great balance of rooibos tea and herbal flower leaves. It has a smooth sweet taste. A fairly decent rooibos tea.

I’m not a great fan of rooibos tea, but this is very nice. The tropical fruit flavor adds a nice accent to the rather bland flavor of the rooibos.

this is a nice rooibos blend, with some lovely help, I like to mix this with their chamomile http://flic.kr/p/6QBv8K

Naturally sweet and slightly fruity-tasting, the tea isn’t overwhelmed by the flavour of the rooibos.

I was wrong, I did have another bag. I stuck this cup in the fridge and it made an interesting and refreshing iced tea, though the chamomile taste is quite strong when it’s cold for some reason.

This is the last one in the ML sample pack I got. Damn.
